This shirt proudly display the two of the tattoos in memory of Noah, which his father, Bud has on either forearm. “NDWQ,” stands for, “Not dead won’t quit,” meaning never give up, never give in. It is structured so that whether read forwards, backwards, left or right – no matter what, one should never give up nor give in.

The other reads, “DSWQ,” for “Dead, still won’t quit.” This was done so as in the wake of Noah’s death, things he had been working towards and dreamed of still occurred even though his time here with us had ended. Proving that his work, his character, his effort and what he had built resonated so strongly in those around him, they were compelled to still honor him with what he was so close to having recognized. Among them being posthumously sworn in as Polk County Deputy by Sheriff Grady Judd at Noah’s memorial serivce as well being awarded his black belt in Gracie-bara JiuJitsu.

The letters in DSWQ appear turned and backwards intentionally. This was done so to represent first how Noah saw things yet still persevered through dyslexia as well as the artistic perception of how things may look when peering through the veil between life and death.

This message conveys that ones character and effort can echo on leaving a massive impact on others, hopefully in great inspiration, hope and determination to continue the legacy.
